Three books bound together, of the first books written by the author and historian Efraim Dainard.
1-2. Journey in the Crimean Peninsula. Warsaw, 1879. "My journeys in the Crimean Peninsula and view of Tiberius…" First and second parts are bound together. The second part was printed in 1880.
3. The Crimean War, Warsaw, 1879. Contains account of the war over the fortified city of Sevastopol in 1853-1856.
Ephraim Deinard (1845-1930) historian writer and polemicist, his books aroused much criticism. Deinard was considered a provocative writer, writing with no inhibitions about controversial topics.
116; 44 pages; 98, [2] pages. 21.5 cm. Fair-poor condition. Stains. Thin and fragile paper. Torn and detached binding.

1. Emergency Mazo Fund – Great free Kitchen in Jerusalem [1954]. Two stamp-like labels (not indented, in a paper envelope) for a 50 cent donation, emergency fund of Yeshivat "Chayei Olam" in New York to collect Matzot for the "Great Free Kitchen" in Jerusalem. Photograph of children around a table.
2. Matzah Fund, booklet with 25 cents value stamp-like labels , " Great Charity Matzo Fund". In Yiddish and English it says: " For the coming Passover holidays help us provide the hundreds of destitute Rabbis and unfortunate orphans with Matzot and clothing. Help us save the future of Judaism!"
Complete booklet, 10 leaves (4 stamps each leaf), unused. Slight moisture marks to paper envelope. 10 cm, very good condition.
