The commentary on Seder Olam was written and brought to print by the close disciple of the Gaon of Vilna – R. Menachem Mendel of Shklow (see Hebrew description).
Inscription on the front endpaper: " This book belongs… to the exceptional rabbi, R. Aryeh Leib son-in-law of R. Avraham Perles of Horodna".
Lengthy handwritten inscriptions on the back endpaper, including a promissory note signed on Rosh Chodesh Adar II 1810.
[49] leaves. 15.5 cm. Overall good condition. Stains. Dampstains to first and final leaves. Several tears (marginal open tears to two leaves, close to text). New binding.
