Ethrog container. [Eretz Israel, late 19th or early 20th century].
Olive wood; ink; fabric.
Unique design. Oval container. On the lid - fine carving of the four species: Ethrog in the center. Willow (Arava) and palm frond (Lulav) surround the Ethrog like a frame, and the myrtle is bound to them. The inscription "Jerusalem ירושלם" appears on the margin of the lid. Purple velvet lining.
Height: 9 cm, length: 11.5 cm, width: 16 cm. Good condition.

Spice container, designed as a tower. [Eretz Israel, late 19th or early 20th century].
Engraved and carved olive wood; ink.
Unique design. Container with four panels on which appear oval medallions with carved reliefs of the holy places: Western Wall, Cave of the Patriarchs, City of David and Rachel's Tomb (titles written by hand, in Hebrew). Standing on a stem widening towards a flower-like base. On the cover appear inscriptions: "Yerushalem" and "Al Besamim". Hinged cover.
Height: 20 cm, max. width: 6.5 cm. Good condition. Slight break to lid. Faded inscription.

On one finial - carved reliefs in the shape of Prophet Zechariah's Tomb and the Western Wall and on the other finial a relief of Rachel's Tomb and the Temple (Dome of the Rock) with names of sites in black ink. The inscription "Yerushalem" (Hebrew) is added on the lower part of the handles. Two cypresses are carved between the reliefs.
Height: 17 cm. Good condition. Cracks. Repairs of wood.

Torah pointer / Spice container. [Eretz Israel, late 19th century].
Engraved olive wood, carved and pierced; printing.
Tightly closed fist with a pointing finger, straight thumb. Small ball. Half of the handle is pentagonal and half is spiral. A flat ball in the center of the handle. A ball-shaped joint at the tip of the handle can be unscrewed and serve as a vessel for spices. On the joint - carved relief of the Western Wall with three cypresses above it and two mosques on both sides, and a decoration. A printed inscription above the carving reads "Kotel…". Five perforations for smelling the spices, decorated with circles; printed in the center is the word "Yerushalem" (Hebrew). Ball is topped with a finial.
Length: 30.5 cm. Good condition. Two small breaks, repairs of wood, faded inscriptions.

Passover Seder plate. [Eretz Israel, late 19th century].
Carved and inlaid olive wood; ink.
Four octagonal plates connected with upright posts on legs. In the center of the upper plate appears a Star of David, inlaid with a geometric design. Inscribed in its center and around it: "Matzah", "Zeroa", "Beitza", "Maror", "Haroset", Yerushalem". Eight reliefs surround the Star of David depicting holy sites: Western Wall, Rachel's Tomb, Tomb of Zachariah, Tomb of Absalom, Cave of the Patriarchs, Ir Zion, Temple Mount and Shmuel's Tomb. Above each relief appears the name of the site. On the rim of the plate, the words of "Vehi SheAmda". On the lower plates appear the words: "Levi", "Cohen", "Israel".
Height: 17.5 cm, Diameter: 39 cm. Good-fair condition. Breaks, cracks, some repairs.

Carved and inlaid olive wood; printing.
Hanukkah lamp decorated with colorful wood inlay. Printed on the stem is the word "Yerushalem". Base is decorated with floral images with reliefs of the Western Wall, Tombs of the Davidic Kings' and the Temple Mount.
Height: 36.5 cm, width: approx 46 cm. Good condition. Some breaks, cracks, faded printing.

A lamp created by Avraham Bar Adon. [Jerusalem, ca. 1920].
Cast brass, cut and sawn; carved wood; wiring.
Geometric patterns are carved on the lampshade, with the inscription "Eretz Israel" and "Mazkeret Yerushalem" (Hebrew) and the artist's signature: "A. Bar Adon".
The lampshade is set on a table-stand made of olive wood with a large camel in the center, sitting, with two compartments for stationery on both sides of the hump.
Avraham Bar Adon (1885-1949), born in Jerusalem, studied in "Bezalel", first year, worked in the carpet department of the school and in 1909 when the copper and Damascene craft department was opened he was appointed as its head. In 1920 he founded the workshop "Machshevet" by "Bezalel" and it is possible that this lamp was made during that period.
Height: 41 cm, length: 45 cm, width: 14 cm. Good condition. Breaks to inscription and to sawn ornamentation on the lampshade. Some damages to wood.

A locking mechanism in front (lacking key).

A mirror within the box. Divided into two compartments. Height: 8 cm, length: 21 cm, width: 17 cm. Good condition. Damages to mirror. Interior lining is worn.

1. Bar-Mitzva gift box made of olive wood. On the lid - colorful illustration of a Biblical view surrounded by a decorative frame, inscribed "Bar Mitzva gift / Bezalel Jerusalem / Jerusalem". Interior of box is divided into compartments (for storing stationery). A lock with a key in front (lock is out of order). Length: 24 cm, width: 11 cm height: 7.5 cm. Good condition. Some damages, parts from interior of box are missing.
2. Olive wood box. On the lid appears a colorful printed illustration of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Biblical view, inscribed "Hebrew University Jerusalem". A lock in front (no key) and the words "Yerushalem" (Hebrew) and "Jerusalem". Length: 14 cm, width: approx. 11 cm, height: 10.5 cm. Good condition. Slight damages.
3. Olive wood cigarette box. On the lid appears a colorful printed illustration - view of Bethlehem, and the inscription "Bethlehem". Rubber bands in the box for holding the cigarettes. Length: 14 cm, width: 8 cm, height: 8.5 cm. Fair condition. Wear, breaks and repairs of wood.
4. Olive wood box. Figure of a camel is carved on the lid. Printed on the upper part of the lid - "Jerusalem". A handwritten inscription appears within the box. Length: 16 cm, width: 9.5 cm, height: 4 cm. Good condition. Slight damages, glue remnants.

Seven prayer books (Sidur) and a Passover Haggadah, in olive wood bindings. [Eretz Israel and Vienna, 2nd half of 19th century and early 20th century].
Carved and inlaid olive wood; printing; ink.
1-2. Sidur "Chukat Olam", according to Ha'ari, by Shlomo Mussayov [Mussayof]. Shemul Halevi Zuckermann and partner printing press. Parts two and four, first edition: 1893-4. Olive wood binding. Front is decorated with vegetal patterns and an inlaid colorful border; the word "Yerushalem" is printed in the center with a relief of the Western Wall (missing from the second part). Reverse of bindings is decorated with reliefs of the Western Wall and the holy sites.
3-4. Two prayer books, "Zichron Yerushalem". Frumkin printing press, Jerusalem, 1910. Olive wood binding with a relief of the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. Name of manufacturer of bindings is engraved on the reverse: "Oholiav Yerushalayim".

1. Conic Mezuzah case. Carved on the lower part is a relief in the shape of the Dome of the Rock, with a printed inscription: "Mekom HaMikdash" and "Yerushalem". On the upper part, a round window within which the word "Shadai" is seen, written on vellum. Length: 14.5 cm. Fair condition. Breaks and peelings, faded letters. Back panel is broken. Vellum was not examined.
2. Rectangular Mezuzah case. Carved on the lower part is a relief shaped as the Tomb of Rachel, with a flower; carved on the upper part is a relief of the Western Wall. Printed inscription: "Kever Rachel", "Bezalel Yerushalem", "HaKotel HaMa'aravi". The word "Shadai" is printed in the center of the case with a colorful geometric decoration above and below it. Length: 20 cm. Good condition. Slight peelings. Upper part of back panel is broken. Vellum was not examined.
