Tur Even HaEzer, with Beit Yisrael, commentary divided into two: Perisha and Derisha, by Rabbi Yehoshua Falk HaCohen – author of the Sma. Lublin, [1638]. Printed by Klonimus Kalman Yaffe.
First edition of the Perisha and Derisha [commentary later attached to all editions of the Tur]. The commentaries are printed around the Tur.
The general name of the commentary is Beit Yisrael, which originally included the work on the Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat as well, called Me'irat Einayim [Sma]. In this edition, only the parts of Yoreh Deah and Even HaEzer were published.
204 leaves. 30 cm. Good condition. Stains. Reinforced with paper glued on the title page and last leaf. Leather binding (with damages), original leather clasps and metal.
