Mishneh Torah by the Rambam, three of the four volumes. Amsterdam, [1702-1703]. Includes unique title pages and special pagination for books of Lechem Mishneh, added at end of each volume.
Volume 2 – Nashim-Kedusha: [2], 227, [4] leaves; 52 leaves. Volume 3 – [1], 368, [9] leaves; 54 leaves. Volume 4 – (missing at beginning) 4-309, [13] leaves; 70 leaves. 37 cm. General condition good. Wear, stains. Two written Ex-libris on parchment. Ancient and damaged wood and leather bindings.
Most extensively proofread edition of books of Rambam, prototype edition for majority of following editions. The Lechem Mishneh books were only added to certain copies.
