Tehillim, with the books Diglei Hodaya V'Hamitzvah and Mamtakei Yehuda on the 613 mitzvot, by Rabbi Yehuda Yudel Landau of Jerusalem. [Jozefow, 1875]. Two title pages, the first in golden letters.
Many approbations by Ashkenasi and Sefardi scholars in Eretz Yisrael, Turkey and Poland. Including approbation by Rebbe David of Tolna who blesses those who buy the book "with blessing and success and all their wishes should be fulfilled". Also an approbation by Rebbe Avraham HaMagid of Trisk who blesses the buyers "that the merit of Torah should protect them and they should be blessed with the triple blessing of scholarly children, long life and abundant livelihood". Many laws and customs of Chassidic leaders.
[12 pages], 3-13 leaves (Leaf 10 is missing); 233 leaves, (without Seder Ma'amadot). 21 cm. Dry paper, fair condition, tears and pasting. Elaborately decorated old leather binding.
Some of the first leaves of approbations and introductions do not appear in the bibliographic listings. The Bibliographic Institute CD notes that they have not seen the first of the two title pages.
