Manuscript of Chiddushei Torah, Chiddushei Sugiyot and sermons by Torah giants of Hungary and Moravia [1810’s].
Chiddushim “in the name of the famous genius, outstanding Dayan in Zülz Rabbi Mordechai”; “in the name of the Maharshach" [Rabbi Shlomo Ben Avraham HaCohen]; “by the Ga’on Rabbi Y. Darshan of Prague”; “by the Ga’on Rabbi Chaim”; “by the great Ga’on Rabbi Baruch Frankel Av Beit Din of Leiffnik”, and more.
The author signs his name “Avraham Deitsch” at the end of many Sugiyot. In one place “year 1819” appears. The first page contains a poem with the acrostic “Avraham”, with his signature “Avraham Deitsch of Zülz”.
Rabbi Avraham Deitsch, son of Rabbi Mordechai, among the rabbis of Zülz (who passed away in 1813), and brother of Rabbi David Deitsch Av Beit Din of Zaharoy, disciple of the Chatam Sofer, and Rabbi Yisrael Deitsch (see next item).

Manuscript of lamentation, eulogy “upon the demise of our rabbi and mentor… the great luminary… Dayan in Beiten, Rabbi Yisrael Deitsch…”. [1853?]. Eulogy in the form of a lengthy poem, consisting of 52 stanzas.
Rabbi Yisrael Deitsch (1800-1853), Av Beit Din of Beiten (Prussia), son of Rabbi Mordechai Av Beit Din of Zülz and brother of Rabbi David Deitsch Av Beit Din of Zaharoy disciple of the Chatam Sofer (see previous item). Among the protesters of the reform movement, corresponded with the Ktav Sofer, who refers to him in one of his responses as “G-D’s warrior”. His sermons in Hebrew and German were printed in the book Zera Yisrael (Gliwice 1855).

Lengthy scholarly processes, Talmudic novellae, Halachic rulings, and copies of Halachic responses sent to various rabbis, in Rabbi Yitzchak Rosenberg’s handwriting [he has added his signature to two of the copied letters]. Parts of the manuscripts were printed in his books “Gevurot Yitzchak” (1962, 2002), and other parts were apparently never printed.

Son of rabbi Yosef Yozfa Rosenberg Rabbi of Püspökladány (Hungary) author of the “Yad Yosef Ve-Ravid Ha-Zahav”. Disciple of the greatest Chatam Sofer’s disciples, son in law of Rabbi Baruch Lichtenstein son of the famous Gaon Rabbi Hillel Lichtenstein of Kolomea. Served as Rabbi of Hajduhadhaz, Hungary, for sixty years. Passed away in Austria, where he was exiled with his community by the Nazis.

Novella in the name of his teacher and rabbi Rabbi Moshe Meir [Lanchinsky] of Ozorkow, novella in the name of his brother Zvi Aryeh of Zdunska-Vola. A letter to Rabbi Yisrael Isser [Feigenbaum] editor of Sha'are Torah etc. The writer signs Yechiel ben R' M. N. Kaminsky.
Rabbi Yechiel son of Rabbi Moshe Nachum Kaminsky, a scholar and chassid, was born in Ozorkow and lived in Kalisch where in 1928, he edited his book Torat Zvi from Zvi Nachum Frankel wherein he added his own novella [as appears on the title page of the book – see attached material]. Manuscript volume containing several essays and notes. Unknown author, Ashkenazi handwriting [apparently written in Eretz Israel around 1930, by an elderly author with a shaky handwriting].
This volume’s main essay is about biblical grammar, an index and compilation of the contextual meaning of all the “Et” used in the Bible. [See Gemara Kidushin 57, Baba Kama 41 – “Nechemia Ha-Amsoni interpreted every “Et” in the Bible]. Additional novellae were written in this present manuscript, an inventory of the books in the author’s library and an Aramaic-Hebrew-Yiddish dictionary. There are names quoted on the forsatz pages to be mentioned in prayers for healing, success, and elevation of souls.

A signed letter and pamphlet of responses to comments on his book, by Rabbi Elyakim Getzel HaLevi Ish Horowitz. Minsk, 1929.
Rabbi Elyakim Getzel HaLevi Ish Horowitz son of Rabbi Yitzchak Rabbi from Radvilishok was born in Kelm in 1873. He wrote the books Kevod Chachamim, Torat HaMitzvah and Zichron Yerushalayim. Exchanged responsa with the leading scholars of his generation: The Maharsham, The Aderet, Rabbi Moshe Nachum Yerushalimsky etc. A pamphlet of comments by the Aderet are printed in his book Torat HaMitzvah. The Aderet writes things in the name of Rabbi Horowitz in his book Over Orach (see attached material). 11 pages. 18.5 cm. Good condition, stains.

Stencil printed handwritten leaves of Rabbi Yerucham Leibovitz’s teachings at the Mir Yeshiva, Fall 1935.
Those words were delivered on the last Elul of Rabbi Yerucham's life and were later printed with numerous editing modifications in the “Hever Ma’amarim” (Vilna, 1939) and in the “Da’at Chochma Ve-Musar” Vol. 2, (New York 1969).
The first essay from September 11th, 1935 deals with the ideology of “Chassidut” which was spread by its leading figures with great Mesirut Nefesh and “this tells us how [the founders of Chassidut] acted for Hashem’s sake and since they acted that way, this is the holy Torah and the holy Torah’s every apostrophe… requires Mesirut Nefesh”. His words on Mesirut Nefesh continue with the example of Rabbi Israel of Salant who did everything he could to introduce the learning of Musar.
