A long letter of recommendation for a Torah scholar who is marrying off his daughter. [Jerusalem], 1980.
Handwritten signatures of Rabbi Yuda Tzadka [Rosh Yeshiva of Porat Yoseph. Apparently, he also wrote the letter], Rabbi Ben Tzion Abba Shaul [Rosh Metivta in Porat Yoseph Yeshiva] and Rabbi Avraham Harari Raful [senior rabbi of Aram Tzova], In margin of letter, two lines added in handwriting and signature of Rabbi Ovadia Yoseph.

Notebook Kupat Gemach HaKlali (General Gemilut Chesed Fund) in Jerusalem, from 1939. Borrowers' signatures, details of securities or guarantees. Attached are letters of guarantee and letters of borrowers with attached documents. Dozens of leaves and hundreds of signatures.
Many of the guarantee bills are signed by Rabbi Meir Yoseph Haltovsky and Rabbi Moshe Bezalel Margaliot of Chayei Olam Yeshiva. Amongst the names of borrowers, you can find men and women of all sectors of the Jerusalem public, from the simplest people to the most famous rabbis. A letter signed by Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneersohn the Rebbe of Lubavitch - Chabad. 24th of Av, 1985.
Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneersohn son of Rebbe Levi Yitzchak Schneersohn, Rabbi of Yekatrinoslav, sixth generation descendent of the Tzemach Tzedek. Already in his childhood his genius and leadership were evident. He married the daughter of the Rebbe HaRayatz (Yosef Yitzhak Schneersohn) and after his father-in-law's death in 1950, he led the worldwide Lubavitch Chassidut. He wrote dozens of books on many topics throughout the Torah. Last rebbe of Chabad.
Official stationary, 21.5 cm. Excellent condition. Typewritten. Signed by the Rebbe + envelope.

1. A handwritten letter, by [Rabbi Lazar Isidor?] Chief Rabbi of France. Addressed to the Head of the Education Department, with recommendation for the son of Leopold Levi, for academic studies. Paris, 1879.
2-3. Handwritten letters by Rabbi Zadoc Kahn (1839-1905), the Orthodox Rabbi of Paris and Chief Rabbi of France from the end of 1888 until his death. One is written on the official stationary of the Chief Rabbi of Paris and addressed to Prof. Lichtenberg, the Faculty Dean of Protestant Theology in Paris, 1888; the other is on the official stationary of the Chief Rabbi of France, addressed to the Manager of Public Hygiene Service, 1893.
4. A handwritten letter by Rabbi Alfred Levi (1840-1919), Chief Rabbi of Lyon, eventually the Chief Rabbi of France (after the death of Rabbi Zadoc Kahn). The letter is written on the official stationary of the Lyon Rabbinate, 1889.

“Memento in honor of Rabbi Avraham Prince who brought people closer to Torah…”. Amsterdam, [1952].
Notepad with dozens of handwritten signatures [in foreign language and Hebrew] of Jewish dignitaries of Holland [upon rectangular leaves glued to notepad leaves]. Apparently, the notepad was presented to Rabbi Prince prior to his immigration to Eretz Yisrael.
Rabbi Avraham Prince, among the rabbis of Holland, served as chief rabbi of the Groningen and surroundings congregations post-Holocaust. Immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in the 1950’s and established a synagogue and congregation in the city of Rechovot.
22 cm. Poor condition, mildew stains. Damaged binding.

Among the postcards, letters handwritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham Aryeh Leib Rozen (1870-1952), among the Torah geniuses of Romania, Rabbi of the communities of Bohosh, Voinesti, Paltishen and Bucharest. Author of the Eitan Aryeh responsum, the She’agat Aryeh and the Birkat Avraham. One of the postcards has a handwritten and signed addition by his son Rabbi Moshe David Rozen, chief rabbi of Romania for about forty five years. The letters’ recipient, Rabbi Ze’ev Wolf Gottlieb (1910-1983) was the son in law of Rabbi Aryeh Leib Rozen.
