Group photograph, “Pioneer Union in Kozhen-Horodoch”. [Horodeck, Gródek, district of Vileika, between Vilna and Minsk], August 26, 1925.
Upon chest of one of the youths “rebirth and labor” written, from the left a Star of David can be observed. Above the group – photograph of Herzl. Glued upon cardboard, on back blessings to Pasha Plotnik upon his immigration to Israel: “You will be among the first group who will socially build the Land of Israel…”.
12X17 cm. Glued upon 20.5X26 cm. cardboard. Fair condition. Stained and worn cardboard, tear on cardboard and photograph.

Chaim Bograshov, (1876-1963) – among the founders of the Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium, an active Zionist and member of the second Knesset. Immigrated to Israel in the year 1906, administrator of the Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium between the years 1919-1951.

5 aerial photographs, Tel-Aviv, coastal plain and the Sharon area, [by photographer Zoltan Kluger, end of the 1930's].
High quality aerial photographs of the city of Tel-Aviv and the Yarkon river estuary, the coastal plain and the Sharon area. Four overlooking the west, one overlooking the east. Not signed.
Between the years 1936-1939, photographer Kluger took approximately one thousand aerial photographs for Keren Kayemet L’Yisrael [JNF] and Keren HaYessod. These photographs served IDF at its outset.
28.5X23 cm. Good condition. Slight damage to first photograph. Placed within a damaged cloth album with stained pages.

Gideon Mandovski (1925-1948) son of Adloph. Native of Opole, Germany, immigrated to Israel in the year 1939 and completed his studies in Mikveh Israel. Served in the Notrim unit and was killed in the War of Independence in the Ramat-Yochanan battle.

Photograph of the building of the Anglo-Palestine bank’s first branch in Tel-Aviv, located at the corner of Herzel and Yehuda HaLevi streets, [1937].
The building was designed by Shani (Yehoshua) Steinbock, one of the founders of the Association of Engineers & Architects in Palestine. The building’s name’s metal letters inscription was designed by Ze’ev Raban. The photograph shows the building after its expansion in 1937.
The photographer’s (I. Kalter) stamp appears on the back of the photograph.
Kalter, (1903-1995) - among the greatest modern architecture photographers in Israel, who mainly worked for architects and various publicities. He perpetuated the best of international architecture style (Bauhaus) in Eretz Israel.
