Anthology of prayers and piyyutim following the rite of the communities in the Venaissin province of southern France: Carpentras, Avignon, Cavaillon and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue).
On title page: "Printed at the behest of the young partners Yeshayah Vidal and Mordechai Ventura; the proofreaders".
Includes kiddush, havdalah, piyyutim for Shabbat and Motza'ei Shabbat, Birkat HaMazon, candle-lighting for Chanukah and order of Purim, Passover Haggadah, kiddush for festivals and order of Rosh Hashanah, order of Torah reading and piyyutim for Simchat Torah night and Chatan Torah readings, and songs for various occasions.
On pp. 46b onwards: piyyutim for circumcision (including a piyyut by R. Yosef di Millau); a lullaby "for putting children in a crib"; piyyutim for putting the Torah scroll in a new ark, piyyutim for festive occasions (including piyyutim by R. Gad Ravel and R. Yaakov de Lunel).
Several piyyutim integrate Judeo-Provençal with Hebrew.
Many piyyutim have the appropriate melody noted on the side.
55, [1] leaves. 24.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Many stains, including dampstains, and dark food stains to some leaves of the Haggadah. Wear. Tears and open tears, affecting text (large tear to bottom of one leaf), partially repaired with paper filling. Light worming. Deleted stamps in several places. New binding.

Passover Haggadah, with English translation, illustrations and maps. London: L. Alexander, [1806]. Hebrew and English on facing pages. Translated by A. Alexander.
Copper-engraved plates and illustrations, and five maps (four on a folding plate). Apart from the text of the Haggadah and its English translation, the Haggadah contains appended articles based on the history and geography of the period. The illustrations depict, among other things, the high priest and his vestments, the tabernacle and its vessels, Oriental slavery, the Sinai desert, and more. The maps show Jerusalem in various periods, the Land of Canaan, the Sea of Reeds and the trail of the Israelites' exodus.
Yiddish translation of Adir Hu, Echad Mi Yodea and Chad Gadya, in Tzenah URenah typeface.
English ownership inscription, dated 1877, on verso of first illustrated leaf.

Stains, many stains to some leaves, including dark food stains. Wear. Tear to engraving next to title page, repaired with paper, and margins of title page repaired with paper. Original leather binding, with spine and other parts repaired, and with new endpaper. Damage to spine. Slipcased.

[1], 26 leaves. 29.5 cm. Fine margins. Good-fair condition. Stains, including food stains (many stains to several leaves). Small marginal tear to leaf with frontispiece, repaired with paper filling to verso. Original leather binding, worn and damaged (repairs to spine).
The frontispiece is rare (recorded in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book based on the Florsheim copy).

Passover Haggadah, with Marathi translation and halachot, with illustrations, edited by Moshe Yaakov Telker and Aharon David Telker. Pune (India): Vitthal Sakharam Agnihotri, 1874. Lithograph.
Hebrew text and translation on facing pages, in corresponding pagination. At the beginning of the Haggadah are nine pages of illustrations, one depicting the baking of matzot for Passover (the figures in the illustrations are dressed characteristically for the place and time).
The Haggadah follows the rite of the Bene Israel of India.
2, [9] leaves, [1], 5-50, 5-44, 5 pages. 21.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains, including dampstains and dark food stains. Wear. Tears and a few open tears, including open tear to last leaf, slightly affecting text. New leather binding. Slipcased in leather.
