Блуждающие звезды, кино-сценарий [Wandering Stars, Film Script], by Isaac Babel. Moscow: Кинопечать, 1926. Russian.
A script by Isaac Babel based on the story "Wandering Stars" (Blondzhende Shtern) by Sholem Aleichem – the love story of a boy and girl who flee their shtetl to join a troupe of wandering players.
Front cover illustration and the three additional illustrations were created by Russian-Jewish artist Alexander Bykhovsky.
Alexander Yakovlevich Bykhovsky (Александр Яковлевич Быховский; 1888-1978) was born in Mogilev and received a traditional Jewish education. He studied at the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg under the guidance of Nikolai Roerich. Among other things, he was engaged in painting and designed scenery and costumes for the theater.
His works were exhibited in various exhibitions, including one held at the Habima Theater (1923). Bykhovsky specialized in painting portraits and landscapes and was known for his realistic style depicting rural and urban life in Russia. He was the first illustrator of Isaac Babel's works.

A work dealing with the life and works of the painter and poet
David Burliuk (Дави́д Дави́дович Бурлю́к; 1882-1967), who is known as the father of Russian Futurism. The booklet was published as part of a series of books on the Russian avant-garde published in New York by Burliuk's wife, Maria Nikiforovna. The booklet's cover was apparently illustrated by Burliuk himself, and is bound with string.
On the first page, a stamp and inscription of the artist's wife, Marussia Burliuk; additional stamp on paper cover: "Burliuk Gallery - Marussia Burliuk, Art Director - Hampton Bays, L. I., N.Y., U.S.A". Inscription on the last page.

Description of the historic 1937 flight of aviation pioneer Georgy Baydukov from Moscow to America via the North Pole. The flight was part of efforts to prove the aerial and technological superiority of the Soviet Union. For his daring flight, Baydukov was awarded the title "Hero of the Soviet Union" - the highest decoration in the Soviet Union.

Alexander Deyneka (Алекса́ндр Алекса́ндрович Дейне́ка; 1899-1969) – painter, sculptor and graphic designer in the Socialist Realist style, who was considered one of the most important figurative painters in Russia in the first half of the 20th century.

Беглецы [Fugitives], by Nikolai Chukovsky. [Leningrad]: Радуга, 1925. Russian.
A children's book describing the adventures of a flock of chicks who disobey their rooster father and set out to explore the world outside the barn where they live.
Enclosed with the book is a plate featuring the illustration of the rooster that appears on the inner back cover, in ink and watercolor. The illustration was created during one of the stages of preparing the book for print, with pencil-drawn page borders and stamps on the back.
Cover, illustrations, and additional plate were created by the Jewish-Ukrainian painter
Arnold Lakhovsky (Арнольд Борисович Лаховский; 1880-1937), who is known for his landscape paintings. Lakhovsky studied at art academies in Odessa, Munich, and St. Petersburg, including under Ilya Repin. In 1908, he traveled to Palestine and for a short while served as a teacher at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. After returning to Russia, he completed his studies and was involved in establishing the Jewish Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. He emigrated to Paris in 1925 and to New York in 1933, where he painted portraits and taught art for a living.

Adventure story in verse by Russian writer
Pyotr Yershov (first published in 1834). The plot revolves around a poor peasant named Ivan the Fool, who finds a magical horse with a curved back that helps him overcome various challenges and grants him magical power and wisdom.
The story is accompanied by color lithographs by
Nikolai Rosenfeld (Николай Борисович Розенфельд; 1886-1938), a Russian-Jewish artist, painter, and graphic artist who worked as a teacher at Vkhutemas and as an artist for the "Academia" publishing house in Moscow. He was the brother of Bolshevik revolutionary Lev Kamenev (Rosenfeld). In 1935, he was implicated in the Kremlin Plot, an alleged conspiracy to assassinate Stalin, and died in custody.
