Lengthy and interesting preface by the author, at the end of which he promises anyone who assists in publishing the book or helps his Chassidim: "God Shall Protect Those Who Support Us… from All Illness and Affliction, And Their Prestige and Fortune Shall Excel with Blessing, Wealth, Honor, Happiness, Good Fortune, Children, Life and Livelihood".
In his book Zohar Chai, the author guarantees that anyone who studies the present work rigorously will rest in the World to Come without needing to return as a Gilgul.

Rebbe Yitzchak Eizik Yehudah Yechiel Safrin (1806-1874), Rabbi of Zidichov and Komarno, kabbalist and leading transmitter of the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov. He was a nephew and close disciple of the Sar Beit HaZohar, Rebbe Tzvi Hirsh of Zidichov. He was cherished by foremost Chassidic leaders – the Chozeh of Lublin, the Ohev Yisrael of Apta, and many others. He authored many books on Chassidut and Kabbalah, which were prized by rebbes of all dynasties.

Rebbe Avraham David Wahrman, the "Gaon of Buchach" (1770-1840), a leading Torah scholar and Chassidic figure, and prominent posek in his times. His halachic works became classics in halachic rulings. His work Eshel Avraham on Orach Chaim was printed in many editions of the Shulchan Aruch and is cited thousands of times in halachic literature.

The author, R. Dov Berish Frumer (d. 1838), disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin and other Chassidic leaders. R. Moshe of Lelov testified that he attained the level of the Chozeh, and that he is unparalleled amongst contemporary Torah leaders. He was appointed Av Beit Din of Oshpitzin (Oświęcim) in his final years.
Extra copy of the publisher's foreword, title page and approbation bound in the middle of the selections at the end of the book.

The author, Rebbe Menachem Mendel of Vitebsk (1730-1782), a prominent disciple of the Baal Shem Tov and later of the Maggid of Mezeritch, was a Chassidic leader in Lithuania and Belorussia, and headed the Chassidic immigration to Eretz Israel in 1777. His disciples include R. Avraham of Kalisk, R. Shneur Zalman of Liadi and others.
