Copies of the sons of the first Rebbe of Sadigura, the brothers Rebbe Yitzchak of Boyan and Rebbe Yisrael of Sadigura. On the title page of the three volumes appear both of their ownership stamps (with an illustration of a lion in the middle of the stamps). The stamps resemble those of their brother R. Shlomo Friedman and their brother-in-law R. Nachum Dov Ber Friedman.
The brothers Rebbe Yitzchak Friedman, the Pachad Yitzchak of Boyan (1850-1917) and Rebbe Yisrael of Sadigura (1852-1907), sons of Rebbe Avraham Yaakov (the first) of Sadigura. After their father's passing in 1883, they both served as rebbes in Sadigura. Three years later Rebbe Yitzchak moved to Boyan and established his Beit Midrash there.

Chasdei David on the Tosefta, by R. David Pardo – all three parts: Livorno: Carlo Giorgi and R. Yaakov Nunes Vais, 1776; Livorno: Eliezer Saadon, 1790; Jerusalem: Yisrael Dov Frumkin, 1890. First editions. All three parts in three volumes.
The first two volumes contain ownership inscriptions and stamps of Rebbe Nachum Dov Ber Friedman of Sadigura. The front endpaper of both volumes contains inscriptions with his signature. On the title pages are two of his stamps, one with his name and a lion icon, and a second stamp "Kinyan Kaspi".
Rebbe Nachum Dov Ber (Bernyu) Friedman of Sadigura (d. 1883), grandson of Rebbe Yisrael of Ruzhin, son of Rebbe Shalom Yosef and son-in-law of Rebbe Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura. R. Nachum Dov Ber was a prominent collector of early manuscripts and books, and possessed a large library. R. Nachum Dov used several types of stamps in his library. Books he inherited from his father were stamped "Nachalat Avotai", books he purchased were stamped "Kinyan Kaspi", and books received as a gift were stamped "Minchat Shai".

Rebbe Natan David (the first) Rabinowitz (1813-1875) was the son of Rebbe Yerachmiel of Peshischa, son of the Yid HaKadosh of Peshischa. He succeeded his father as Rebbe in Peshischa and later moved to Shidlovtza (Szydłowiec), where he was reputed as a wonder-worker and attracted a large following. He was a progenitor of the Chassidic dynasties of Shidlovtza, Biala and Munkacs.

Rebbe Moshe Hager of Radovitz (1840-1901), author of Vayikach Moshe, son of Rebbe Yosef Alter Hager of Radovitz. Served as Rebbe in Radovitz (Rădăuți) and went on to immigrate to Eretz Israel, settling in Safed and later in Haifa, where he became one of the founders of the Ashkenazi settlement in the city.

Rebbe Meir Yehudah Shapiro, Rabbi of Bikovsk (Bukowsko; 1846-1907), son of the Tzemach David of Dinov, and grandson of the Bnei Yissachar. He was the son-in-law of Rebbe Yosef Alter Hager of Radovitz, and by his second marriage of R. Yisrael of Kremenitz (son-in-law of Rebbe Chaim Hager of Kosov). He was appointed rebbe in 1874 and many Dinov Chassidim followed him. His home was open to the destitute, and he would prescribe his Chassidim medication and bring about salvations for the sick.

Rebbe Avraham Betzalel Natan Nata Biederman (1862-1933; known as Rebbe Alter) was born in Eretz Israel to Rebbe Elazar Mendel of Lelov. He later served as rebbe in Sosnowitz (Sosnowiec, Poland), where he was known as "the rebbe from Eretz Israel" and earned the reputation of a wonder-worker.

R. Nechemiah Alter (1875-1942; perished in the Holocaust), son of the Sefat Emet of Ger, brother of the Imrei Emet and father-in-law of the Lev Simchah. An outstanding Torah scholar, he left Ger for Otwock after World War I, and later immigrated to Israel in 1925 and headed the Sefat Emet yeshiva in Jerusalem. In 1931 he returned to Poland and served as a member of the Council of Rabbis in Łódź. Most of his descendants perished in the Holocaust, with the exception of his eldest daughter Rebbetzin Yuta Henya, mother of the current Rebbe of Ger.

This book belonged to Rebbe Pinchas Shalom Rottenberg and R. Efraim Asher Rottenberg of the United States, sons of Rebbe Moshe Shmuel Rottenberg. On the endpaper is an ownership inscription stating that the book belongs to "R. P[inchas] of Kleinwardein and Koson". On the leaves of the book are many stamps (in English) of R. Pinchas Shalom Rottenberg (from his period of residence in the Bronx, New York). On the front endpaper is a signature of R. Pinchas Shalom's son: Rebbe "Meshulam Feish Rottenberg". On the title page of the book is the signature of his brother R. Efraim Asher in Hebrew, and on the endpaper is the signature of R. Efraim in English.

The author, Rebbe Yosef (Yehosef) HaLevi Rottenberg, first Rebbe of Koson, author of Bnei Shileshim (1853-1911), descendant of R. Tzvi Hirsh of Zidichov and disciple of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and the Yitav Lev of Sighet. Served as Rabbi and Rebbe in Tash (Nyírtass), succeeding his father-in-law Rebbe Meshulam Feish Lowy of Tash. He later went on to serve as Rabbi of Nyírmada, Debrecen and Koson (in Carpathian Ruthenia).
His second son, Rebbe Moshe Shmuel HaLevi Rottenberg (1872-1946) served as rebbe in Kleinwardein (Kisvárda) and later in Los Angeles. His sons also served as rabbis and rebbes in the United States: Rebbe Efraim Asher HaLevi Rottenberg of Koson-Los Angeles served as rabbi of the Ner Yisrael community in Los Angeles, California; and his brother Rebbe Pinchas Shalom HaLevi Rottenberg (1892-1962) served as Rebbe of Koson in the Bronx and Boro Park, New York. Rebbe Pinchas Shalom was succeeded as rebbe by his sons Rebbe Yisrael Menachem (1928-2003) and Rebbe Meshulam Feish (1932-2014).
