The commentary of the Gaon of Vilna is printed alongside the text of the Mishnah, with the Derech Avot commentary at the bottom of the pages. A piece of leather is affixed to the front board, with the name of the owner lettered on it: "Avraham son of R. Chaim Gottlieb". The front endpapers bear ownership inscriptions of his son R.
