Stone amulet in a silver frame. [Iraq or Eretz Israel, late 19th or early 20th century].
Carved stone; silver; enamel.
On the bright stone appear the letters "שד-י", within an arch decorated with repetitive diagonal lines. Bells and pendants are attached to the silver frame with blue enamel beads.
6X3.5 cm. Good condition. Old break to lower part of stone; hole (for hanging?). Lacking enamel decorations.
Provenance: The Sassoon family collection.

Five amulets. [India, Iraq / Eretz Israel, late 19th - early 20th century].
1. Silver coin with portrait of Queen Victoria, from the year 1893, with the letter ה'י sawn in the center. [India, late 19th century]. Diameter: 2 cm.
2-3. Two 21k gold amulets, with "שד-י ה'" embossed in the center, encircled by vegetal and geometric decorations. Diameter: 3 cm, 3.5 cm. Loop for hanging.
4. A 21k gold amulet, for sewing on a garment. Embossed in the center is an inscription: "שד-י ה' שד-י" in three lines. Diameter: 3 cm. Pinholes for sewing. Bends and damages.
5. A 21k gold amulet, sawn in the shape of a Star of David, with the letter "ה" engraved at the six tips of the star. 2.8 cm. Loop for hanging.

Low grade silver, engraved and soldered.
Rectangular plaque, trimmed corners, engraved with names of angels - "Shmuel", "Hananel", and more. Engraved on the lower part is a creature which resembles a snail with a shell. Two loops and a chain for hanging.
6X7 cm. Fair condition. Stains and corrosion.

Plate with abbreviations of verses, for protection and safeguard. [Eretz Israel or the vicinity, 20th century].
Copper, sawn and engraved.
Wave-like borders. Four circles are engraved on the surface of the plate with letter combinations and abbreviations. Acronym of the Piyyut "Ana BeKoach" is engraved on the outer circle. Shape of a fish is engraved in the center, with two stars.
Diameter: 15.5 cm. Good condition.
