"Likutei Amarim Tanya", [Kopys, after 1814]. On the last leaf is a stamp in Russian of Rabbi M. Yaffe of Kopys, who approves the book's inspection. This stamp was made to approve a book printed in the underground printing press in Kopys during the time of the decree on books and the censor – See enclosed material [Y. Mondshein, "Torat Chabad", page 71. According to the article by C. Liberman," Sha'arei Chabad" no. 52].

"Kav VeNaki", on "Hilchot Gittin". Sections 1-2. Warsaw, 1868. First edition. Many approbations, among them the approbation of the Rebbe Baruch Shalom, eldest son of the "Tzemach Tzedek".
In the center of the title page is a nice dedication handwritten and signed by the author, Rabbi Avraham David Lavut (1815-1890), disciple of the "Tzemach Tzedek" and among the most prominent" Chabad" rabbis and Hassidim. Served in the rabbinate of Nikolayev in the Cherson region for forty years. Author of the books "Sha'ar HaKolel" on the composition of "Admor HaZaken", "Kav VeNaki "and "Beit Aharon Vehosafot". His granddaughter is Rabbanit Chana Schneerson mother of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. He edited the books of his esteemed grandfather and published them, and wrote his biography in the introduction.

Stamps of Rabbi "Yehoshua Nathan ben Uri Nissan Genesin – Rabbi of Potchep". Dozens of handwritten glosses, with frequent mention of the the Rebbe's opinion [From "Shulchan Aruch HaRav of Liadi", Rebbe Shneur Zalman].
Rabbi Yehoshua Nathan Genesin (1840-1921), a leading Lubavitch rabbi, headed the yeshiva in Starodub and from 1883 served as rabbi of Kritchev. Later moved to serve in the rabbinate of the Chassidic community of Potchep where he founded an important yeshiva. Most of the rabbis who taught in the "Tomchei Temimim" Yeshiva founded by the Rashab (Rabbi Shalom Dov Ber) were his disciples and he ordinated many Lubavitch rabbis for the rabbinate. The circumciser was a disciple of rabbi of the city, Rabbi Mordechai Wetzlar (first circumcision in the notepad is of one of Rabbi Mordechai Wetzlar’s sons). The name of the owner is imprinted upon the leather binding.
Hundreds of names listed throughout notepad including rabbis and family members of distinguished lineage of Orthodox Jews of Germany [names include: Wertheim, Posen, Emrich, Elias, Adler, Bloch, Spier, Fried, Rothschild, Goldschmidt and others].
