Edict issued by the City of Frankfurt am Main Council member forbidding "all of the city's inhabitants, amongst them the merchants of silver and gold, as well as all of the Jews" to buy silver and gold items with emblems of the kingdom. These items have to be handed to the mayor. This manifest is an update of an edict published in 1760. [1] leaf, 34 cm. Good condition. Stains, tears at margin of leaf.

On the first page appears a description of the Jew. In the following pages appear numerous signatures and ink-stamps most of them of police-stations. [10] pp, 34 cm. Fair condition. Stains, tears, adhesive tape.

"Shir Kelulot", a wedding-poem for Napoleon I, French Emperor and Italian King with Maria Luisa von Österreich, daughter of Francis the First, Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary and Bohemia, [by Yehuda Leib Ben-Ze'ev]. Vienna: Anton Schmidt printing press, [1810]. Poem in honor of the wedding of Napoleon Bonaparte and Mari-Louise, daughter of Franz II, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire (also known as Franz I Emperor of Austria). Napoleon remarried after his divorce from his first wife Josephine. The poem was probably composed by Yehuda Leib Ben-Ze'ev (1764-1811), of the Jewish Enlightenment Movement first generation. A satirical political wall placard depicting an imaginary letter sent by "Rabbi Yankef" from Berlin to his colleague "Rabbi Yotzmach" in Warsaw, in which he laments and criticizes the situation in Berlin resulting from the March 1848 revolution in Prussia. Published as part of a series of satirical political leaflets that dealt with current affairs during the revolution. Written in German, the text contains citations in faulty Yiddish written in the German alphabet.
