Approbation by Rabbi Ya'akov Shimshon of Shpitovka "Rabbi of Slavita and Moreh Tzedek of Shpitovka and Bar and Oman and its surroundings". In this approbation, he writes about "the printing press established in Slavita by Rabbi…Pinchas". [According to this approbation, some have attributed the initiative of founding the printing press in Slavita to Rabbi Pinchas Koritz father of Rabbi Moshe Shapira – see The Bibliography Institute CD Listing 0108497].
Another approbation by Rabbi Aryeh Leib Rabbi of Volochisk, "to the printers of Slavita". [It is worthwhile noting that his son Rabbi Yosef Yoska Segal Rabbi of Iasi is mentioned on title page of Or Hachaim chumashim printed in Slavita at that time].
