Sefer Ha-Brit "most of his teachings are based on the holy writings of the Ari z"l in his book Etz Ha-Chaim". Vol.2. [Vienna, c.1797-1800]. First [book] printed at the new printing press of Anton Schmidt in the city of Vienna.
This edition was printed in a similar way to the first volume which was printed in Brֳ¼n in 1801 and seems to be a continuation of it, but there are many additions and corrections which the author printed in "Sefer Ha-Brit HaShalem" which was printed in Zolkow in 1807.
In 1796, after printer Rossman of Brֳ¼n passed away, the press and all of its contents moved to Anton Schmidt in Vienna. It seems that Schmidt had inherited from Rossman all of the book's first volume exemplars and decided to print the second volume just like the first, making no mention of the place and year of print, so both volumes would look like they belong to one set. (Based on the Bibliography Institute CD, record 0137514).
[1], 128 leaves. 17.5 cm. Good-fair condition, wear and stains. Signatures and ownership inscriptions. Original, damaged, leather binding.
