Versions of Yizkor, for the souls of men, women and children, in the unique version of Italian Jews. The sections with variances between singular and plural and the like were written in colored ink. Nice calligraphic writing, on thick high-quality paper (imitation parchment).
7 leaves, 17 cm. Good condition, use marks and inscriptions. Worn binding.

Manuscript of the book"Sur Me-Ra". Copied in Italian Rashi handwriting by"disciple David son of Rabbi Shlomo Levi". Firenze, (1701).
Dialogue between two friends (Eldad and Meidad) on the illegitimacy of card games -"Two [friends] discuss the topic [card games], one shows the pros while the other shows the cons. From their discussion, it appears that there is nothing better for anyone than keep away from [those games]. This manuscript is the first book authored by Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh of Modena, who wrote it when he was 13 and printed it anonymously in Venice, 1595. This book was later reprinted in Prague, 1615. The present copy was copied by hand from the Prague print and includes the publisher's foreword as well as words by"the first publisher" Rabbi Avraham son of Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Haver-Tov.

Manuscript, "An introduction to my poem - Shirat Heichal", poetic lists on the dedication of the Beit Knesset HaGadol of the city of Cunio (Italy), [1786]. The rabbi of the city Rabbi Yedidya ben Refael Shlomo [HaLevi] and the wealthy man Rabbi Shmuel Galiko are mentioned in the manuscript. [In honor of the dedication of the Beit Knesset several pamphlets of poems were published: Todah V'Kol Zimra (Livorno 1786) and Seder Zemirot V'Limud (Livorno 1876). We have not seen them and we do not know if what is written in this manuscript was printed there].

Manuscript - Discorso Per il Giorno d' Espiazione (Sermons for Yom Kippur), by Rabbi Ya'akov Chai Pardo. Great Beit Din of Verona October 1837. Italian (with verses in Hebrew).
Rabbi Ya'akov Chai Pardo (born in 1822), son of Rabbi Shmuel Pardo Dayan in Verona, favorite disciple of Shmuel David Luzzatto in the Beit Midrash for Rabbis in Padua. Passed away at the young age of twenty and many eulogized him. Composed sermons and commentary on Sefer Micha which was printed by Shmuel David Luzzatto in the book Avnei Zikaron (Prague, 1841). [See attached material].
