Creases to first issue.

* Battle directive #4 of the Sinai ("Kadesh") Campaign (November 1956), containing the Letter of Surrender of the Egyptian Army in the Gaza Strip.

On August 1966, a fighter aircraft MIG 21 – the most advanced aircraft that Arab armies owned at that time - landed at the air force base in Chatzor after the Mossad's Blue Bird-The Diamond Operation. Afterwards, the MIG was moved to the US Air Force, which led to the end of the US weapons embargo on Israel, and to exchanging the French Mirage in IDF service for American Phantoms.
14 black and white photographs of the MIG 21 aircraft and of Major General Motti Hod, Air Force Commander, near the aircraft.
The Blue Bird, a 50 minute film staged by Shmuel Imberman, produced by Malam (Intelligence Heritage Center) and Channel 1, about the Mossad's operation to bring the MIG 21 to Israel.

1. "The Yemen Campaign [is] the path to the Palestine Campaign," a sign by the Egyptian army "Unit for Maintenance of Morale" [painted on wood, 1967?]. Probably produced during the Six Day War. During the 1960s the Egyptians fought in the Civil War in Yemen on the side of the rebels, against the monarchy. "The Unit for Maintenance of Morale " assumed that the success in Yemen will be repeated in the war against Israel. Some holes and cracks, missing two corners, moisture marks.
2. Reading and writing study booklet, on the cover a colorful illustration of an Egyptian soldier treading on an Israeli flag, and Israelis drowning in the sea. Black and white illustrations. Good condition.
