Served in the rabbinate for forty years in the city of Nikolayev. Author of the books Sha’ar HaKolel on the composition of Admor HaZaken, Kav VeNaki and Beit Aharon Vehosafot.
His granddaughter, Rabbanit Chana Schneerson, mother of the Rabbi of Lubavitz, edited the books of his grandfather, published them under Kehot Publications and wrote his biography in the introduction. See attached material.

(See Ya’ari A., “Books which were falsely affiliated to the Yehudit print, but were not printed by her”, Kiryat Sefer, 21, #59). The book was apparently printed in Lemberg around 1834.
