Proficient and knowledgeable in Jewish thought and in the hidden wisdom. Founded educational institutions and reestablished the Orthodox settlement in the Old City in Jerusalem. A large congregation of his disciples and admirers, the majority of which reside in the Old City, concentrated around his Aderet Eliyahu yeshiva. [Mentor and Rabbi of Rabbi Uri Zohar, who returned to his heritage following a renowned dialogue with Rabbi Zilberman].
