Illustrated poster issued by Keren Hayesod; advertising the events of the "Day of Immigration and Settlement" which were held in Tel-Aviv in November 1950.
The events of the "Day of Immigration and Settlement" were held by Keren Hayesod for youth movements in Israel and abroad. Their goal was to reinforce the pioneering spirit among the youth and encourage settlement and aid in absorbing new immigrants. During the day, ceremonies and parades were held in the streets of Tel-Aviv. In the evening, a festive closing ceremony was held at the HaBimah hall, attended by the leaders of the state.
47.5X67.5 cm. Good condition. Fold lines and creases. Several stains on the margins. Minor blemishes. The poster is mounted to thin paper for preservation. Two stamps on verso.
