Ketubah – Iran, 1911
Ketubah recording the marriage of the groom Yair son of Saliman with the bride Rengin Nagar daughter of Chaim. [Tuyserkan?, Iran] on the Gazandar River. Sivan 1911. Adorned with green, red and gold colors. Rectangular frames. At the top is a cartouche-shaped decoration. On the right are three more cartouches with various verses. 35X44 cm. Fair-poor condition. Mounted on a paper leaf. Coarse tears to the folding marks and stains, with damage to text.
