"Sketchbook" by Robert Genin – text and illustrations; all in lithographic printing. Most lithographs are colored by hand. Seven lithographs, each spread on a full page, are signed by Genin. Copy no. 26 from an edition of only 30 copies.
Robert Genin (1884-1941?), Russian artist of Jewish origin. Lived for a long period in Germany (Munich and Berlin) and was a member of the expressionist painters group Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider) together with Vasily Kandinsky, Franz Mark, and others.
