A silver tetradrachm (Sela), Bar Kokhba Revolt. Obv.: Facade of the Temple in Jerusalem. The Temple is standing on a ladder shaped base. Above it, a rosette and the sign *. On the left side, vestiges of previous coin and Greek letters. Around, a paleo-Hebrew inscription שמעון (Shimon). Rev: Bundle of lulav with ethrog on left, surrounded by inscription לחרו[ת י]רושלים (for the freedom of Jerusalem). Undated coin. Tetradrachms of Bar Kokhba Revolt are mostly restruck on Syrian tetradrachms of the reign of Trajan. 132/5 C.E. 13.3 grams, 26 mm, axis 12. TJC 267
