Passover Composition about the Holocaust – Kibbutz Nir David

Passover composition for Nir David, Nisan 14, 5702(1942), the third Passover since the bloodshed started, [1942]. Drawn on the cover is a Nazi boot with a swastika, stepping on a person surrounded by a heap of bones. Alongside various traditional songs appear texts referring to the Holocaust in Europe and to the moral responsibility for the fate of European Jewry.
On page 12, for example, the text reads: "only we, in Eretz Israel, could have saved Jews in Europe from the torture, the meaningless life while being choked in Ghettoes…with no solution. It is in our hands to turn the tears into blessing…"; on the last page: "this year the holiday is sad but next year the tree of freedom will blossom…". [1], 13, [1] leaves, 26.5 cm. Good condition. Front cover is loose. Foxing marks. Not mentioned in "Haggadot Kibutziot" by Nathan Steiner.
