Rabbi Shimshon Bloch (1784-1846), author of Shvilei Olam, grandson of Rabbi Shimshon Chasid (Bloch) of Hamburg, author of Nezirut Shimshon. His book Shvilei Olam earned the approbations of the Chatam Sofer, Rabbi Mordechai Benet and Rabbi Shmuel and Rabbi Ya'akovka Landa, sons of the Noda BiYehuda.
