"Yerech Ya'akov – Kochav MiYa'akov", Dedication Handwritten and Signed by Rabbi "Yeshua Basis" Head of Tunisian Rabbis

"Yerech Ya'akov", homiletics. "Kochav MiYa'akov", on the Talmud. By Rabbi Ya'akkov Pitosi, Livorno, 1842.
At the top of the title page is a dedication handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yeshua Basis.
The" Mekubal" Rabbi Yeshaya Basis (1773-1860), a leading Tunisian rabbi, served as "Ra'avad" of Tunis and the last 13 years of his life as Chief Rabbi of Tunisia. Known for his ingenuity and renowned as a miracle-worker. There are many famous stories and wonders about his cleverness and the miracles and wonders he performed (The Flying Myrtle Seller, etc. See attached material).
