Pewter Passover Seder Plate – Moses in the Basket – Germany

Passover Seder plate. Germany, [end of 19th century or beginning of 20th century].
Cast engraved pewter.
Illustrated in the center of the plate is the scene where Pharaoh's daughter finds Moses (in the basket). (The figures and the landscape have clear Central European characteristics). Engraved on the edges of the plate: "And G-d heard our voices… as written, 'And G-d heard their cries and G-d remembered'" (from the Haggada).
Circumference: 32 cm. Few bends.
