Five Books of the Torah, with Targum Onkelos and commentaries of Rashi and Ramban, and supercommentary by R. Yitzchak Aboab to the Ramban; Five Megillot with Targum and Rashi's commentary, and order of Haftarot for the whole year. Venice: Daniel Bomberg, 1548.
Large, thick format. First edition of R. Yitzchak Aboab's commentary printed together with the Torah and Ramban (the commentary was first printed on its own in 1525).
Colophon at the end of the Torah section, on p. 343b: "And the work was completed at the end of Adar 1548, by the man appointed over the work, Cornelio Adelkind the Levite". At the end of the Haftarot: "By Cornelio Adelkind in Daniel Bomberg's press".
A separate title page for the Haftarot for the whole year according to the Sephardic and Ashkenazic customs.
Lengthy inscriptions on title page in early Ashkenazic script. Deleted signature on title page. Signature on verso of last leaf: "Yitzchak son of Shmuel"


343, 345-381, [1]; 26 leaves. Without leaf 344 after Torah section, which was originally blank. Leaves 17-18 of the second sequence bound out of order, after leaf 24. 31.5 cm. Overall good-fair condition; title page and several other leaves in fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Traces of former dampness with mold stains in several places. Tears and open tears to several leaves, slightly affecting text, partially repaired with paper. Light worming. Close trimming, affecting marginal notes in several places. Last gathering detached. Early binding, with leather spine and original colorful endpaper. Damage to binding (tear to top of spine).
