Lot 368
Two Books from the Library of the Rebbe of Lelow
1. Levush Ateret Zahav, on Yoreh De'a, by Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe, with Chagurat Shmuel commentary, by Rabbi Shmuel of Lanzberg, Part III. Berdichev, [1819]. Ink-stamps of Rebbe Shimon Natan Neta Biderman. Inscription "Avraham Biderman", two glosses in pencil, and the writing: "novellae and glosses AS"B" [Rebbe Avraham Shlomo Biderman, see about him: Encyclopedia of Chasidut, 3, page 894], and one gloss in ink.
2. Babylonian Talmud, Tractate Bechorot. Dyhernfurth, [1802]. Two handwritten glosses. A handwritten kvitl was inserted in the book and a telegram sent to the Rebbe of Lelow. [Ink-stamps of the Rebbe of Yablona].
Most probably, the handwritten glosses have been written by the Rebbe Moshe Mordechai Biderman of Lelow and by his son Avraham Shlomo.
Size and condition varies [General poor condition. New leather binding to one of the books].
