Printed here for the first time is the author's well known responsum regarding the recitation of "Leshem Yichud", in which he rebuts the opinion of the Noda BiYehuda, who criticized its recital.
On the verso of the final leaf, ownership inscription handwritten and signed by R. Naftali Menachem Herzog, rabbi of Vilkotsh (Galicia; d. ca. 1900s, son and successor of R. Mordechai Rabbi of Vilkotsh), attesting that the book belongs to his grandfather R. Shmuel Hertzog of Sanok.

Open tears to title page, slightly affecting text, and tears to several other leaves, repaired with paper. Final leaf presumably supplied from a different copy (extensive worming and marginal open tears). New leather binding.
