Derech Yeshara Siddur – Nuremberg, 1768

Derech Yeshara siddur, Ashkenazi-rite, prayers for weekdays, Shabbat, festivals and High Holidays, selichot and piyyutim, laws and customs, with Yiddish translation and explanation of the prayers and laws. The Derech Yeshara siddur was first published in 1697 in Frankfurt am Main. It gained great popularity, and was reprinted in several editions. This is the seventh edition of the siddur, with several additions, in particular the selichot for Yom Kippur Katan.
[4], 32, 29-96, 93-94, 93-96, 93-96, 93-106, 109-193, 1-18, 17-96, 1-6; 102, [1]; [1], 12 leaves (first sequence misfoliated). 21 cm. Fair condition. Stains, including dampstains and wax stains. Minor wear. Worming to several leaves, affecting text. Closed and open tears to several leaves, affecting text, repaired in part with paper. Two leaves restored with transparent paper. Margins trimmed with damage to engraved title page border and to text in several other places. Leather binding, with leather and metal clasps (binding and clasps partially restored).
