Four medals, issued on the occasion of the visit of Kaiser Wilhelm II to Palestine, 1898. German.
1. Silver medal. Obverse: bust of the Kaiser with a helmet, facing left. Legend: Wilhelm II Deutscher Kaiser. Reverse: Church of the Redeemer. Legend: "Einweihung der Erlöserkirche in Jerusalem, 31. Octbr. 1898" [Dedication of the Church of the Redeemer…]. Another legend on the rim: "Palästina Segensmunze."

2. Silver medal. Obverse: busts of the Kaiser and Empress Augusta Victoria, facing right. Legend: "Gedenkthaler zur Palästinafahrt des Deutschen Kaiserpaares." Reverse: female figure holding two wreaths. Legend: "Gott, der Allmachtige, gab sein Geleite! / Rukkunft 26. Nov. 1898."

3. Silver medal. Obverse: the Kaiser mounted on a horse. Legend: "Wilhelm II Deutscher Kaiser." Reverse: interior of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Legend: "Das Heilige Grab / Reize S.M. des Kaisers nach Jerusalem, Okt. 1898." Another legend on the rim: "Eine Gedenkmünze" [commemorative coin].

4. Medal. Obverse: busts of the Kaiser and Empress Augusta Victoria, facing right. Legend: "Wilhelm II Kaiser, Augusta Victoria Kaiserin v. Deutschland." Reverse legend – "Zur Erinnerung an die Kaiserreise nach den Morgenlande Jerusalem 1898." [in memory of the Kaiser's voyage to the Orient…]
