Stone Oil Lamp – Yemen, 19th or 20th Century
single-wick stone oil lamp (seraj). Yemen, [19th or 20th century].
Soapstone (steatite), chiseled.
Boat-shaped single-wick oil lamp. The Yemenite rectangular eight-wick Hannukah lamp developed from joining lamps of the seraj type.
7.5X16 cm. Fair-good condition. Loss and damage.
