Ink on parchment. Script typical of 17th century Poland, with blobs atop the crownlet decorations (possibly added later). 30 lines per column.
Many unusual letters, such as: winding Pe with additional decorations below, Lamed with a fork-like extension, various letters with an additional rounded serif, and more. The custom of writing unusual letters is usually found in old Torah scrolls. Esther scrolls with such letters are very rare. Furthermore, Esther scrolls from Poland in this period are rare.
Height of parchment: approx. 33 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains, some dark. Wear and creases. Ink faded in several places.
