Collection of Independence Day Posters – 1960s-1990s
24 posters printed for the State of Israel Independence Day, 1961-1996.
Included: • Official posters for the years 1961, 1969, 1975, and all of the posters printed from 1980 to 1996 (excluding the 1993 poster). Two posters for 1983 and two posters for 1990 (different sizes). • Three additional posters from 1983, 1984 and 1988 (alternative designs).
24 posters, some in large format (approx. 97X68 cm), and some in small format (approx. 68X47.5 cm). Condition varies. Good overall condition.
Enclosed: Two unofficial Independence Day posters issued by JNF: • "10th Anniversary of Israel… Present to the Children of Israel". Designed by Yehezkel Kimhi, [1958]. • "Jewish Child Forest… 30th Anniversary of Israel". Designed by "Jerusalem artists – Ruth Levin", [1978]. Provenance: The Rimon Family Collection.
