Rebbe David Twersky of Tolna (1808-1882), succeeded his father Rebbe Mordechai of Chernobyl as rebbe. He was a leader of Ukrainian Jewry, and rebbe to thousands of Chassidim.
120 leaves. Without final leaf of errata (possibly not included in all copies). Approx. 20 cm. Fair condition. Several leaves in fair-poor condition. Stains. Extensive worming affecting text (some leaves with significant worming), repaired in part with paper. Several leaves repaired with adhesive tape over text. New binding.
