Letter from Rebbe Yisrael of Husiatyn – Blessings for Health and "Abundance of Blessing and Success in all Your Endeavors"

Letter signed by Rebbe Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn. Tel Aviv, 1941.
Written by a scribe and signed by rebbe "Yisrael son of R. Mordechai Feivish".
In his letter addressed to his Chassidim in Chicago, the rebbe extends many warm blessings for children, life and abundant sustenance, good health and success in all areas. The rebbe mentions his prayers for them and for the entire Jewish people for redemption (in time of war).
Rebbe Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn (1858-1948), elder rebbe of the Ruzhin dynasty, last grandson of Rebbe Yisrael of Ruzhin. He succeeded his father Rebbe Mordechai Feivish as rebbe of Husiatyn in 1894. Immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1937 and settled in Tel Aviv. He is famous for his prayer at the gravesite of the Or HaChaim during WWII, where he declared that the Nazis will not succeed in conquering Eretz Israel.
