The Hebrew Bible, the Apocrypha and the New Testament translated by Martin Luther, accompanied by nine large prints and dozens of in-text prints. The small prints depict scenes from the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament and the large prints depict portraits of biblical figures: Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Aaron, Samuel, King Solomon and others. One of the prints depicts Martin Luther. Eight of the large prints are signed in the plate: A. [Andreas?] Nunzer.

Closed and open tears to edges of first leaves. Notations to endpapers. Elegant leather-covered binding with corner guards (some missing), damaged and partly detached; worming. Originally with two leather straps and buckles, now missing.
