The photograph shows the conference participants in a hall bedecked with the flag of Greece, flags of the Zionist Movement, and portraits of Theodor Herzl and Max Nordau. One of the personalities at the podium at the front of the hall is Leon Yehuda Recanati, president of the Jewish community of Thessaloniki.
Mounted on thick paper, with the printed emblem of the "Photo Menahem" photographer's studio, Thessaloniki (Greek: Φωτο Μεναχέμ).
Photograph: approx. 23X16.5 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes. Mounted on heavy paper, 35X28 cm, with creases, minor blemishes, and notation to verso.
