World Class Judaica and Israeliana Auction House

Kedem was established in 2008 by Meron Eren and Avishai Galer, both experienced professionals in the fields of Judaica and Israeliana. Avishai specializes in Jewish religious books ("Sifrei Kodesh") and rabbinical manuscripts, while Meron focuses on items related to Jewish and Israeli history and culture. As the company's co-founders and co-managers, their combined decades of expertise have helped build Kedem into one of the world's leading Judaica auction houses.
Kedem's world-class catalogs are renowned for their accurate, informative descriptions and quality photographs. We conduct auctions based on the highest level of credibility, extending courtesy and respect to both buyers and sellers.
Kedem employs a growing team of experienced specialists and experts, all passionate about their craft. The company is headquartered in the historic center of Jerusalem with a sales representative in the USA.
The Hebrew word ‘kedem’ combines meanings of past and origins ('kadum') with progress and future ('kadima'). It is the fusion of these two worlds that best defines our vision.

Public auctions

Kedem hosts a variety of public auctions throughout the year. Our four areas of expertise include Judaica (religious books, manuscripts and rabbinical letters; Jewish and Israeli history and culture; Israeli and international fine art, and various objects (Jewish ceremonial art, Israeliana objects and numismatics).
