Manuscript, Torah novellae on the Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah (Hilchot Nidah). By Rabbi Asher Wachterlitz. [Pressburg, c. 1810-s].
Inscriptions on cover leaf in ancient handwriting: "Torah novellae by the Gaon Rabbi Asher". "This book belongs to the wondrous Torah scholar Rabbi Asher Wachderdalin". Rabbi Asher Wachterlitz, a beloved disciple of the Chatam Sofer and son-in-law of Rabbi Yissachar Dov Frank, scribe and trustee of the Pressburg community, served as Rabbi of Shatelsdorf (see Chatam Sofer responsa Yoreh Deah Siman 299) and as Rabbi of Temimei Derech Society in Pressburg.
