Printed bill of “Seder Tna’im Rishonim” . [Rom print, Vilna], 1875.
Bill filled out in the city of Brisk, Tevet 1889. Upon the engagement of the groom Mordechai son of Moshe Michael HaCohen to the bride Malka Leah son of Shmuel David. The wedding was set for the month of Sivan in the city of Shershav. [In many congregations throughout Lithuania and Poland it was customary to produce two bills of stipulations, the first upon finalizing the Shidduch which is called Seder Tna’im Rishonim and the second on the wedding day, prior to the Chuppah]. The name of the printer appears in Cyrillic letters.
21.5 cm. Fair condition, signs of wear and multi-colored mildew stains.
