Sefer Sha’arei Yosher, inquiries on various Jewish laws, by the Ga’on Rabbi Shimon Yehudah Shkop. Warsaw, 1928. First publication of one of the most basic books of erudition and reasoning in the Yeshiva world.
Ownership notations of the Ga’on Rabbi Zvi Yehudah Alswang, brother-in-law of author (who mentions him in introduction of book). Served for many years in the Chicago Rabbinate (USA), and toward his old age immigrated to Israel to study in the Slobodka Yeshiva in Bnei Brak (passed away on Rosh HaShana 1961).
