Parochet for Torah ark. C' Cint. (Cincinnati ? USA), [c. 1930s].
A velvet yellowish-light-brown parochet, decorated with golden-thread embroidery, sequins and beads, imitation of precious stones. Another decoration is attached to the loops at the top of the parochet, a lighter-colored velvet in the form of waves decorated with three embroidered Magen-David. In the center, the Two Tablets of Law inside a Magen-David and the shape of a crown are prominent, with the words Keter Torah. The writing "Chana son of Efraim HaLevi Balsky, C' Cint." Is embroidered under the central decorations.
C. 126X190 cm. Good condition. Moisture stains.
