“Memento in honor of Rabbi Avraham Prince who brought people closer to Torah…”. Amsterdam, [1952].
Notepad with dozens of handwritten signatures [in foreign language and Hebrew] of Jewish dignitaries of Holland [upon rectangular leaves glued to notepad leaves]. Apparently, the notepad was presented to Rabbi Prince prior to his immigration to Eretz Yisrael.
Rabbi Avraham Prince, among the rabbis of Holland, served as chief rabbi of the Groningen and surroundings congregations post-Holocaust. Immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in the 1950’s and established a synagogue and congregation in the city of Rechovot.
22 cm. Poor condition, mildew stains. Damaged binding.
