First leaves of Slichot finely completed in Handwriting. Leaves of Machzor contain many additions of prayers, laws and customs, version corrections and commentaries, in early Italian handwriting from the period of the printing. Large portion of additions based on Kabbalah. On leaf 252 the author notes"I have already written this in the commentary of my Machzor". Leaf 253 contains interesting comments on the poem in Ne'ilah. Apparently, the author was a Torah scholar, proficient in laws and customs, who wrote Chiddushim on the Shulchan Aruch and commentaries on the Machzor.
Leaf 94 contains more recent writing, relating the custom of the people from the city of Moncalvo (Italy) to recite the poems.
Incomplete copy: Leaves 13-301 (of 315 leaves) + 5 handwritten completion leaves at beginning of volume. 29 cm. Fair condition, very worn. Binding torn and incomplete.
